Promoting Facebook posts

Boost Facebook posts using ad spend to reach a larger audience.

Boosted—or promoted—posts allow you to use ad spend to promote your business or page to a larger audience. In Fluency, Facebook page posts are automatically pulled in every day starting at 7 a.m.

You can boost Facebook posts:

Boosting posts in Manage

There are two ways to boost posts inside the Manage tab: through bulk editing organic page posts, or by creating a specific boosted post ad.

Note: A Facebook page must be linked to the account in order to to promote a post. Facebook page post data is automatically configured for every account that has a linked Facebook page ID. Facebook page IDs can be linked from a field in an account ingestion sheet or from the Partner section in account settings.

Bulk-boosting posts

  1. Hover over Manage (globe icon) in the left menu, and select Accounts.

  2. Hover over an account name, and select the target icon.

  3. Select Facebook Page Posts. Note: The account must have a Facebook page ID connected to it for this tab to show up.

  4. Check the box next to the post(s) you'd like to promote from the account's organic Facebook posts.

  5. Choose Boost Posts in the blue bulk edit menu.

  6. Select which Campaign and Ad Set to promote it under.

  7. (Optional) Select a Call to Action and Website URL.

  8. Click Boost Posts when finished.
