Linking existing partner accounts to Fluency

Link your Google, Microsoft, and Meta ads to Fluency for streamlined campaign management and tracking.

Updated over 2 months ago

Whether you're new to Fluency or expanding to other channels, linking to existing partners is straightforward using the Partners tool. Note: Currently, we support linking existing sub-accounts from Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta.

Linking to an existing partner

  1. Go to Manage in the top menu.

  2. Click on an account in the list.

  3. Select Account Settings toward the top right.

  4. Go to the Partners tab.

  5. In the Partner Accounts tab, input your account ID in the Customer ID field for the partner you want to link. Note: Refer to the next section for information about locating account IDs.

  6. Choose an Overspend Detection setting:

    • Managed: Includes total spend for management (recommended).

    • Partial: Includes spend from Fluency-connected campaigns only.

    • Un-Managed: Does not include the spend for management.

  7. Click Save.

Once the partner is connected, existing campaigns, ad groups, ads, and keywords will be pulled into the platform. If you selected Managed or Partial Over Spend Detection, the spend for that particular month is also imported.

Note: You can only add a customer ID once, which cannot be undone after saving. Contact your Advertising Engineer for errors or changes to a customer ID in Fluency.

Locating account IDs in partner platforms

Use these guidelines to locate account IDs in partner platforms:

  • Google Ads: Located next to your account name in Google Ads.

  • Microsoft Ads: Numeric value in the URL after aid= while in an advertising account in Microsoft Ads.

  • Facebook: For account ID, find it in Business Settings by selecting an individual account under Ad Accounts. For page ID, find it under Business Settings by selecting an individual account's page under Pages.

Note: If you don't have existing Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or Facebook (Meta) accounts, you can easily create new ones. Simply launch a Search, Display, or Facebook (Meta) campaign using a Blueprint, and account IDs will be created automatically.Using tracking tags

Navigate to the Tracking Tags tab in the Partners tab for step-by-step instructions and code examples for implementing remarketing on your website.
