Meta Advantage+ Catalog ads (formerly known as dynamic ads) simplify the process of creating ads for a broad range or large volume of products. Catalog ads use an ad template that automatically incorporates images and details from a catalog. Paired with the power of Blueprints, they enable you to dynamically advertise at scale with just a few button clicks.
Formatting catalog fields
Entering catalog fields in Fluency include two components: (1) catalog type and (2) attribute. These components need to follow Meta's format in order to successfully connect to the catalog and make the ad dynamic:
{{catalog type.attribute}}
Catalog type refers to the type of catalog in the product set. For example:
Automotive → vehicle
Products or Ecommerce → product
Destination or Travel → destination
Real Estate → home_listing
Attribute refers to the specific field or detail you want to include from the catalog. Here are the available attributes for:
Ecommerce (title, condition, price, etc.)
Automotive (model, price, make, etc.)
Travel (address, image, type, etc.)
Real estate (availability, address, neighborhood, etc.)
Note: An attribute must be set up in the catalog for a Blueprint to use it.
Examples:
{{vehicle.model}}
{{destination.type}}
{{home_listing.neighborhood}}
Note: The {{catalog type.attribute}} format can be used in primary text, headline, description, and deep link website URL fields.
