Account settings and tools house features that allow you to manage and control your accounts.

Getting to your account settings and tools

  1. Go to Manage (globe icon) in the left menu.

  2. Select Accounts.

  3. Click on an account from the list.

  4. Go to Settings & Tools under Account Actions near the top.

Settings and tools overview

Account settings and tools are housed in a drawer that slides out from the right side from your screen.

The search bar

To find what you need, you can use the search bar in the top-left of the settings drawer side menu. Type in the name of a tool, and Fluency will take you directly to those settings.

Settings and tools sections

Your settings and tools are organized into three sections or "tabs" in the settings drawer:

  • Settings & Tools (wrench icon)

  • Targeting (target icon)

  • Blueprint Data (rocket icon)

Move between sections by selecting a different icon in the top-left of the side menu (found under the search bar).

Available settings and tools defined

Select the menu items in the settings drawer menu to navigate your account settings and tools. You can get an overview of each menu item below.

Account details overview

Account details is a menu item in the Account Settings & Tools "tab."

Get a breakdown of what each field in this section does:

  • Account Details

    • Account Name: The name of the account as it appears in Fluency.

    • Advertised Name: (Optional) Variation of the account name used to show how the name will appear in advertising copy. If left blank, Account Name will be used by default.

    • Short Advertised Name: (Optional) Variation of the Advertised Name typically used when the full Advertised Name exceeds advertising character limits. If left blank, Advertised Name will be used by default.

  • Automation Settings

    • Assigned User: The primary manager/user on the account.

    • Reverse Sync: The frequency with which Fluency will pull in account updates from channel partners.

    • Read Only: Toggle on read-only mode to prevent Fluency from making updates at the partner.

  • URL Settings

    • Domain: The primary domain of the account (e.g., www.fluency.inc). Instead of inputting http:// and https://, use the prefix dropdown.

  • Identification Settings

    • UUID: Universally Unique Identifier that is assigned to each new account when ingested into Fluency.

    • Vertical: The type of account used to connect your account to a Blueprint and your crawler (e.g., auto, real estate, etc.)
