The Similar Metrics report feature allows you to easily compare the performance of your accounts, offering a bird's-eye view of how others are doing and where you stand in comparison. You can choose from various metrics to analyze the performance of a campaign, ad group, or keyword across your portfolio.

Where to find Similar Metrics reporting

  1. Go to Manage in the top menu.

  2. Click on an account from the list.

  3. Choose the Campaigns, Ad Groups, or Keywords tab.

  4. Hover over any campaign, ad group, or keyword to reveal quick actions.

  5. Select the double arrows icon to open a Similar Metrics report. Note: Elements without the double arrows icon are not eligible for comparison.

How it works

The Similar Metrics feature compares performance of all other elements with a similar name in the same vertical. For instance, if you view similar metrics for a campaign named "Brand," it compares the performance of all other campaigns with the name "Brand" within the same vertical.

In the dropdown menu next to Select Metrics to Compare, choose the metric you want for comparison. This adjusts the graph to display the performance of all eligible accounts ranked from best to worst based on your chosen metric. The tool also provides information on how the selected account ranks among all other eligible accounts in the portfolio. The table below the graph contains all available performance metrics for that specific element.

Note: Campaigns, ad groups, and keywords must have one or more impressions to be eligible for display in the report.
