Reviewing account performance using Peer Insights

Use Peer Insights to get a snapshot of how an account is performing, compared to others with similar attributes.

Updated over a month ago

In each active account in Manage, a letter grade is assigned based on performance compared to other accounts with similar attributes. Note that this does not evaluate your advertising strategy, but lets you know how your campaigns are doing in relation to other accounts’ campaigns.

Navigating to Peer Insights

To find peer insights for a specific account:

  1. Go to Manage in the top menu.

  2. Under the Peer Rank column, click on the letter grade associated with the account you are interested in.

This opens a “score card” for the account.

  • Left side: Fluency provides additional analysis for specific strategies associated with your campaigns, such as bidding strategy. Select one to see suggestions to improve performance.

  • Right side: See how the account ranks among the selected peer matches. The graphs on the lower right show the performance of specific metrics, such as conversions, cost per click, etc. Click on any graph to see a zoomed in version.

Note: The metrics used in scoring the account are based on a rolling average over the last 30 days.

How Peer Insights works

Within your portfolio of accounts, Fluency selects those that have the closest matches in attributes, such as vertical, marketing area, channels, etc. To see the selection criteria for the selected account, click How Are Peers Matched? under the letter grade. Turn on the Show Peer Names toggle to see the name of the peer accounts.
