Promoting Facebook posts from Manage

Boost Facebook posts using ad spend to reach a larger audience.

Updated this week

Promoted—or boosted—posts allow you to use ad spend to promote your business or page to a larger audience.

Note: You can promote Facebook posts in Fluency via an account in Manage or from Blueprints.

How to promote Facebook posts via an account

  1. Go to Manage (globe icon) in the left menu.

  2. Select Accounts.

  3. Click on an account in the list.

  4. Go to Targeting under Account Actions near the top.

  5. Click the Account Settings button toward the top right of the window.

  6. Select Facebook Page Posts. Note: The account must have a Facebook page ID connected to it for this tab to show up.

  7. Check the box next to the post(s) you'd like to promote from the account's organic Facebook posts.

  8. Choose Promote Posts in the blue bulk edit menu.

  9. Select which Campaign and Ad Set to promote it under.

  10. (Optional) Select a Call to Action and Website URL.

  11. Click Promote Posts when finished.

Note: A Facebook page must be linked to the account in order to to promote a post. Facebook page post data is automatically configured for every account that has a linked Facebook page ID. Facebook page IDs can be linked from a field in an account ingestion sheet or from the Partner section in account settings.
