Advertising channels

Fluency supports integrations with these advertising platforms:

  • Meta Ads

  • Google Ads

  • Microsoft Ads

  • YouTube

  • Basis Technologies

  • Pinterest

  • Amazon Sponsored Display

We’re open to exploring additional integrations, but if the requested platform isn’t on our development calendar—or is needed sooner than planned—it can be submitted as a custom request.

Partner account structure

Fluency supports partner accounts structured under a master account. For example:

  • For Google: All accounts under a single MCC.

  • For Facebook: All accounts under one Business Manager account.

Data formats and transfers

We support account, budget, and other data transfers through sFTP, S3, Google Drive, Dropbox, select databases, the Fluency API and recurring exports from client systems. Supported file formats include CSV, TSV, JSON, XML, and YAML.

Media assets

Fluency accepts image and video media assets via sFTP, S3, Google Drive, Dropbox, select databases, the Fluency API, and recurring exports from client systems.

Assets must meet the requirements of your advertising account and follow a machine-readable folder structure for proper asset ingestion and organization into accounts.

Inventory data

Fluency can receive inventory data via sFTP, S3, Google Drive, select databases, the Fluency API, and recurring exports, in the same supported formats as media assets: CSV, TSV, JSON, XML, and YAML. If the format deviates from these, a custom solution is needed. When Fluency pushes inventory to providers, the data format must align with the advertising account's requirements.

Fluency supports daily, monthly, lifetime, and select segmented budget types. Other budget types are possible, but require scoping.

Audience data

Fluency accepts hashed audience data via sFTP, S3, Google Drive, select databases, and recurring exports, in the following formats: CSV, TSV, JSON, XML, and YAML.

Audiences can be pushed to supported advertising platforms. For unsupported methods or formats, custom solutions are required. Clients can also push audience data directly to channel partners and share the audience names with Fluency—we use a standardized naming convention for proper identification and connection.

Reporting data

Fluency offers internal reporting to simplify data analysis. Select data can be exported in CSV, TSV, JSON, XML, or YAML formats through sFTP, S3, Google Drive, Dropbox, or select databases. Integrations with advertising platforms outside of Meta Ads, Google Ads, Microsoft, YouTube, Basis, Pinterest, and Amazon Sponsored Display may require scoping and an additional SOW.

Fluency also offers solutions for client-facing reporting. Client-facing reporting may be custom.

Blueprints

During implementation, Fluency creates two Blueprints with the client's participation in build sessions and training. Afterward, you’ll have the tools and knowledge to create your own. Additional Blueprints can be created for a fee. Clients must provide a standardized strategy for each Blueprint that Fluency builds. Clients are also responsible for thoroughly reviewing and QA’ing Blueprints before launch.

While a Blueprint has the capacity to house hundreds of campaigns, Fluency limits each Blueprint to a single strategic focus to ensure effectiveness and ease of management. For example, in the automotive industry, this would correspond to one Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

Custom solutions

Any needs beyond the standard scope outlined in this article are considered custom. Fluency will gather the required details and deliver an SOW with the estimated hours and costs. Connect with your Advertising Engineer if you would like to discuss any custom requests.
