Account Ingestion allows you to connect new and existing advertising accounts with Fluency, ensuring that your data is always up-to-date. Fluency uses data sources to act as a bridge between the platform and external data sources. Fluency syncs data sources daily, pulling in any new accounts it detects and updating changes to existing accounts.
Setting up an ingest source
An ingest sheet is used to ingest account and campaign data into Fluency from partners like Google, Bing, Facebook, etc. Additionally, an ingest sheet is used to create new accounts in Fluency, as well as at the partner.
Minimum requirements for account ingestion
Minimum requirements for account ingestion
Account name
Facebook Ref ID (if ingesting Facebook accounts)
Microsoft Ref ID (if ingesting Microsoft accounts)
Google CID (if ingesting Google accounts)
Note: All partners can be ingested into a single account in Fluency.
Minimum requirements for creating net new accounts

Account name
Address and time zone
Note: Partner REF IDs should be blank, as these will be created automatically when the ingest sheet runs. If you are creating a new Google CID and want to have it placed under a specific sub MCC, add that value under the Google Sub-MCC header column.
Recommended fields
Recommended fields
We recommend filling out all relevant fields in the ingest sheet, as this will speed up the onboarding of accounts into Fluency.
For example:
Domain is needed to create ads and for Fluency to run its website crawler.
Assigned user assigns accounts to users that have logins to Fluency. This allows the user to log in and view their accounts with the My Accounts filter view.
Address allows Fluency to set a geo target radius on top of the business. This also allows other functionality such as “drive time geo targeting” (target all zip codes within an X-minute drive of an address).
Phone number allows Fluency to set a call extension via the Blueprint.
If you have other data that is relevant to an account, talk to your Advertising Architect or Advertising Engineer. They can help you determine if the data should be added to the ingest sheet or through other data transfer methods.
How to add an account ingest source
To add a new or existing account ingest source:
Go to Automate (rocket icon) in the left menu.
Select Account Ingest.
Click + Create New.
Choose your Data Source: You can use the data source link from your Google Sheet. Feel free to explore a sample or download a template for guidance.
Select Data Type as Account.
Decide on the Frequency of how often your ingest sheet will sync with Fluency. For optimal results, consider a sync every 6 hours.
Pick the First Run Hour (EST): Determine the initial sync time for your ingest sheet each day. For example: If you set a Frequency of 6 hrs and a First Run Hour of 1:00 a.m., your ingest sheet will update at 1 a.m., 7 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. daily.
How to run the ingest sheet
You're not bound to the sync frequency you selected when setting up an account ingest source. You can run the ingest sheet through a manual sync:
Hover over the data source name to access the quick action menu.
(Optional) Preview ingest changes by clicking the eyeball icon.
Initiate the sync by clicking the Ingest Now icon.
How Fluency matches ingested accounts to existing accounts
When Fluency syncs with an ingest sheet—whether scheduled or manual—it matches each account in the spreadsheet to an existing account in Fluency. This matching follows a prioritized order based on the following attributes:
1. Fluency Account Plan ID (highest priority)
2. Google CID
3. Facebook CID
4. Microsoft CID
5. Account UUID
6. Account Name (lowest priority)
Once a match is found, Fluency updates the existing account with the information from the ingest sheet.
