Learn about global settings that impact all Blueprints and accounts.

Updated over a week ago

In the customer settings area of Fluency, you can customize budget management, establish global data sources, review other account integrations, enable auto-linking when available, and more. Customer settings apply to all accounts in Fluency.

Navigating to your customer settings

  1. Click Settings & Tools (gear icon) in the top menu.

  2. Select Customer Info in the dropdown.

Configuring basic settings

Let's break down the options for customizing your Fluency experience:

1. Basic information

Configure your company's name, address, phone number, and other basic information.

2. Enforcing MFA enrollment

To enhance account security, you can mandate all company users to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). Users will receive a daily pop-up notification for enrollment, beginning 30 days before the chosen date. After the specified date, users must enroll to log in to Fluency.

3. Tracking settings

  • Auto Tagging Enabled: Tracking templates and final URL suffixes will send to account settings in Google Ads upon account creation in Fluency.

4. Suspending all accounts

Enabling this toggle on will temporarily halt all account spending. This feature is particularly useful when you see an unexpectedly high rate of overspending in your accounts.

Configuring advanced settings

Advanced customer settings help optimize the configuration of all your accounts for maximum efficiency in your business. These settings apply globally unless specific configurations are set at the account level.

  • Budget Management: Global budgeting settings

  • Blueprints: Auto-linking to new ODEX Meta Blueprint goals

  • Custom Bid Restrictions: Min/max bid restrictions for keyword recommendations

  • Custom Data Sources: Global data sources

  • Custom Email: Recipients of Fluency's automated email reports

  • Data Normalization: Extract vehicle inventory in a normalized format

  • Google Analytics: Auto-linking Fluency accounts to their respective Analytics accounts

  • Google Merchant Center: Auto-linking Fluency accounts to their respective GMC accounts

  • Google My Business: Auto-linking Fluency accounts to their respective GMB accounts

  • Account Integrations: Link to existing Pinterest Business IDs

Other customer settings

Meta posts

Set the number of Meta posts retrieved for your accounts. Posts are updated automatically through Reverse Sync; you can also perform a manual pull.

  • Number of days to retain Meta Page Posts (default is 0)

  • Maximum number of Meta Page Posts to retain (default is 30 max)

Note: The number of posts retrieved will be limited by the first constraint reached. For example, if the maximum is 30 posts but there are only 20 posts in 60 days, only 20 posts will be retrieved.

Product catalogs

Set dynamic ad settings for product catalogs. These settings apply to all products in your catalog.

  • Carousel Ad Image Cropping

  • Single Ad Image Cropping

Note: To change these settings for specific accounts, update them in Manage > Account Settings > Catalogs > Select a product set > Settings.

How to export your customer settings

If you need to export all account information, follow these steps:

  1. After configuring your desired settings, click Save.

  2. Choose CSV to initiate the download automatically.

The CSV file generated will include a comprehensive list of all accounts under the customer profile, along with the customer settings applied to each account. Additionally, account information and the Fluency analyst associated with the account will also be included.
