You can specify a date range in Fluency to see performance metrics from that time period.
You can also compare metrics between two date ranges to gain insights into campaign performance. By analyzing current data alongside a previous period, you can identify trends and make informed decisions.
The date range selector can be found in Manage > Accounts, Data Explorer, Dashboard, and more. By default, the date range is set to This Month.
Follow along with the video or use the instructions below.
Selecting a date range
Click on the date selector in the top-right.
Select a preset date range on the left side (e.g., Last Week) or customize your own dates.
Click Apply to set the new date range.
Comparing metrics by time period in Manage
To compare current metric data with a previous period:
Go to Manage (globe icon) in the left menu.
Select Accounts.
Go to any table (accounts, campaigns, ad groups, etc.) and click the date range in the top-right.
Click the Compare toggle and a comparison date range will appear.
Select the time period you want to compare, or manually enter a different date range. Note: By default, the comparison date range will be for the previous month, unless you manually enter a different date range. For example, if the current month is June, the comparison dates will be for May. Changing the current date range will also automatically reset the comparison date range to the previous month.
Click Apply to generate the comparison metrics.
Metric comparisons
After applying the comparison, the table will display three rows of data:
Row 1: Current period. Shows the metrics for the current (or selected) time period.
Row 2: Comparison period. Displays the metrics for the previous period.
Row 3: Percent change between periods. Shows the percentage change between the current and comparison periods (e.g., -4%, +33%).
