Applying bulk actions with Bulk Manage

Use Bulk Manage to apply changes to multiple elements (e.g., accounts, budgets, campaigns, etc.).

Bulk Manage allows you to quickly make changes across multiple elements, whether it’s accounts, budgets, campaigns, etc. The Fluency team continually expands the list of available bulk actions to provide you with swift and effective account management.


How to use Bulk Manage

Follow along with the video or use the instructions below.

  1. Go to Manage (globe icon) in the left menu.

  2. Select Accounts.

  3. Check the box next to one or more accounts in the list.

  4. In the blue bulk edit menu, click Bulk Manage.

  5. Optional:

    • Add a filter (see instructions below).

    • Toggle Include read-only accounts at the top right to apply changes to accounts in read-only mode.

    • Apply a filter to view specific accounts by clicking Showing All Accounts at the top right and choosing a filter (e.g., Assigned to Me, Read Only Accounts, etc.).

    • Add additional actions by clicking + Add an Action.

  6. In the Actions section, click the Please Select dropdown to choose the element you want to make bulk changes to: Account, Budget, Campaign, Ad Group, Keyword, or Creative.

  7. Select your desired action from the second Please Select dropdown that appears.

  8. Click Preview to verify the accuracy of the changes.

  9. Click Apply to implement your changes immediately, or choose Schedule to apply them at a later date.

  10. Confirm your changes by clicking the gear icon (Settings & Tools) in the top menu and selecting Bulk Receipts from the dropdown. You can cancel scheduled changes here.

In addition to bulk-removing ad elements, below are more examples of bulk actions you can apply to advertising elements in Fluency:


Filtering elements for bulk changes

Use filters to narrow down a list to only the accounts, budgets, campaigns, or other advertising elements you want to modify in bulk. The filtering tool is collapsed by default, so you may need to expand it open before proceeding with the directions below.

  1. Click the + Add a Filter Set button, and specify an Account, Budget, Campaign, Ad Group, Keyword, or Creative.

  2. Choose between All rules match or Any rules match.

  3. Select the field you want to change, and use "and/or" statements to apply multiple rules or filter sets as necessary.

  4. Enter the desired value for filtering.


Reviewing past bulk changes

  1. Go to Manage (globe icon) in the left menu.

  2. Select Accounts.

  3. Check the box next to one or more accounts in the list.

  4. In the blue bulk edit menu, click Bulk Manage.

  5. Select View Receipts to the right of the Bulk Manage title.

Option #2:

  1. Go to Manage (globe icon) in the left menu.

  2. Select Bulk Receipts.

View the details for a bulk change by selecting an action. Details of the bulk action will open and include the following information:

  • Date and time of the request

  • Date and time when the request was applied

  • The number of updates

  • A summary of the bulk action

  • The accounts impacted

  • Children modified: The levels impacted (e.g., ad groups, budgets, keywords, etc.)

  • The status of the bulk action
