Meta opportunity score

Meta’s opportunity score allows you to assess how optimized your campaigns, ad sets, and ads are on a scale of 0 to 100. Applying Meta Ads Manager’s recommendations can systematically raise your score. While a higher score indicates your account is following Meta's top optimization practices, actual performance depends on market dynamics. However, consistently reviewing and applying these tailored recommendations can help improve campaign performance over time.

Where to find opportunity scores

Opportunity scores are available at the account level and ad group level in Fluency. Follow these steps to locate them:

  1. Hover over Manage (globe icon) in the left menu, and select Accounts.

  2. In the account table, find the Meta Health column. It displays the aggregate opportunity score. Note: If the column isn't visible, add it by editing the columns and finding Meta Optimization Score.

  3. Click into an account and navigate to the Ad Groups tab to see opportunities available at the ad set level, indicated by a speedometer icon. Note: If the column isn't visible, add it by editing the columns and finding Opportunities.

Improving opportunity scores

To review Meta’s recommendations, hover over a score at the account level and click the up arrow on its left or click the speedometer icon at the ad group level. Choose to accept, mitigate, or dismiss the recommendations. Note: The same recommendations can be located under Recommendation Policies.

  • Accept: Implement the recommendation and dismiss it at the partner.

  • Mitigate: Document the recommendation, integrate it into existing Fluency suggestions and notifications, and dismiss it at the partner.

  • Dismiss: Dismiss the recommendation at the partner.

Note: View the available types of opportunity score recommendations.
