Data Explorer UI updates (December 2025)

We’ve redesigned Data Explorer navigation to offer a more simplified and intuitive experience.


What has changed

1. Consolidated menus

  1. Features that are now accessible through the Edit menu.

    • Save Preset (disk icon)

    • Custom notifications (bell icon)

    • Display (pie chart icon)

  2. The date range selector is now in the Customize menu on the right.

  3. Connect Data, which shows the list of saved data sets, is now accessible by selecting Open (cloud icon).

  4. The Upload button has been removed. The tool is available in Manage.

2. Open menu

Select Open (cloud icon) to see your list of saved data sets. To load a data set, click the row and it will load automatically.

Add Ons

Add Ons show you if the data set has a custom notification, live link (list URL), or widget.

Shared Level

Shared Level indicates if the data set is available to only you, a select number of users, or everyone in your company.

3. Edit menu

Save and delete data sets

At the top of the Edit menu, you can save and delete data sets.

General

In General, you can edit the name, description, and access settings of the data set.

Custom notifications

  • Set up custom notification under Notification.

  • Dynamic Text is now Tags, which can be used in the Name and Description fields.

  • Scroll to the bottom to preview the notification.

Live links

List URLs are now live links. Use this tool to connect your data with your own external reporting tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Widgets

With the Display (pie chart) tool, you can create data visualizations (e.g., line graphs, bar graphs). With Widget, you can make these graphs available in the Dashboard and Report Designer.
