We’ve redesigned Fluency’s platform navigation to offer a clearer, more intuitive experience. The update enhances usability and makes it easier to understand key tools, helping you navigate the platform more efficiently.
This new navigation is intended to:
Address confusion around the language of applied budgets.
Bring consistency to the user experience when creating budget groups.
Simplify navigation so users can find what they need.
What has changed
1. Language changes
New Language | Former Language | Definition |
Spend Limit | (Approved) Account Budget | The approved total budget for each account |
Budget | Applied Budget | An individual budget assigned to a specific campaign or multiple campaigns |
Total Budget | Total Applied Budget | The sum of all budgets assigned to all campaigns |
2. Account budget settings redesign
Account Hold: The toggle has been moved to the top of the settings menu.
Overspend Protection: Select Edit under Spend Limit to see the toggle. If overspend protection is turned off, you will see a line slashed across the shield.
Next Month Spend Limit: Select Edit to change the spend limit for the following month.
Note: After applying changes, click Save to complete the change.

3. Budget groups
Budget group settings have been consolidated into Budget Settings.
Spend Limit & Budget: To edit these amounts, hover over the row and select the pencil icon. Note: You cannot change the spend limit for individual budgets within a budget group.
Next Month Spend Limit: To change a budget group’s spend limit for the following month, hover over a budget group name. Select the pencil icon under Spend Limit and enter a value. Select Apply.
Click Save to complete the change.
