What is Fluency Academy?
Fluency Academy is an online learning hub where Fluency users can build skills, earn certificates, and stay up to date on the platform. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to sharpen your expertise, Fluency Academy offers flexible, self-guided learning to support your growth.
Your first course: Fluency Foundations
Fluency Foundations is a beginner-level certificate program designed to help you build core knowledge and confidence in using the Fluency platform. Note: You must receive your Fluency Foundations certificate before you can access other courses in Fluency Academy. For experienced users, you can opt to test out of the course to receive your certificate (more information below).
Overview
⏳ Time Commitment: The course takes about 4-7 hours total. Think of it as 30-60 minutes a day over the course of a week. To stay on track, we recommend setting aside short blocks of time across several days.
🏆 Course Overview: Fluency Academy covers essential platform concepts like platform navigation, notifications, budgeting, and bulk tools. You'll complete short assessments at the end of select lessons to reinforce what you’ve learned.
📝 Feedback Matters: After finishing the course, you’ll complete a self-assessment and a short survey to reflect on your experience and help us continue improving Fluency.
📍 Location: All learning takes place in Fluency Academy.
What you’ll learn
Fluency Foundations covers the essential tools to help you get started with the platform. It focuses on core features and day-to-day use, perfect for new users or anyone needing a refresher. Note: This course does not include content about Blueprints or advanced automation features.
Testing out of Fluency Foundations
If you’re already comfortable using the Fluency platform and have been a user for 6+ months, you can skip the course and go straight to the Fluency Foundations assessment. Passing the assessment earns you the same certificate and badge as completing the full course. Click Test Out Now on your academy homepage to self-enroll.
Sharing badges and certificates on LinkedIn
Once you complete a course, you’ll receive a certificate (PDF) for download. Badges are issued once you complete a course and award you points within Fluency Academy. You can view all the badges you've earned here.
Sharing a badge
In Fluency Academy, click the hamburger menu icon (three lines) in the upper-left and select My Badges.
Click View All Badges in the lower-right.
Click on the badge you want to share.
Click Share Badge and select LinkedIn to create a post. A pop-up will appear with the attached badge.
Write your announcement in the post, such as “I completed @Fluency - Digital Advertising Operating System’s Fluency Foundations course!”
Select Post.
Adding a certificate
In Fluency Academy, click the hamburger menu icon (three lines) in the top-left and select My Badges.
Click View All Badges in the lower-right.
Click on the badge you want to share.
Click Share Badge and select Copy Link.
Go to your LinkedIn profile.
Scroll down to the Licenses & Certifications section and click the + button.
Enter “[course_name]” under Name.
Enter “Fluency - Digital Advertising Operating System” under Issuing Organization.
Paste the link you copied under Credential URL.
(Optional) Under Media, select + Add Media and upload your certificate PDF.
Click Save.
Select Post Now.
Write your announcement in the post or select Skip.
Your certificate will appear under “Licenses & Certifications.”
