Identify market opportunities and present data-supported proposals to clients.

Updated over 7 months ago

With proposal sheets, you can quickly identify new market opportunities across accounts and present them to clients in a clear, data-supported way.

How to generate a proposal sheet

  1. Go to Manage in the top menu.

  2. Locate the Proposal column in the accounts table. If you don't see it, you can reveal the field by editing your columns.

  3. Click the green button for the desired account to generate a proposal.

A configuration menu and draft PDF will open automatically in a new window.

Configuring a proposal sheet

After generating a proposal sheet for an account, fine-tune your preferences and preview the PDF before downloading or printing. Make adjustments to the following areas:

  • Global Fees: Modify the Global % Fee to automatically adjust the Current and Recommended spend in the Search section.

  • Ideal Media Mix: Customize the allocation of your budget among different channels by setting specific percentages. You can also exclude certain channel recommendations by setting the percentage to 0.

  • Text For Sections: Edit the text within the proposal. Note: Any text enclosed in double curly braces {{}} is automatically populated based on account details or recommended budget values.

Proposal sheet breakdown

The main sections you'll see in each proposal sheet are:

  • Search. This section offers a recommended spend, estimating traffic increases for each campaign. It's based on the current search impression share lost across the account and can provide an estimated budget allocation for Microsoft Ads, considering the available search volume.

  • Display and Facebook Overview. Here, you'll find a proposed budget breakdown across all your advertising channels, designed to target your audience at various stages of the marketing funnel.

  • Your Market. Gain insights into your local averages compared to national averages based on your geographic environment.

  • What's New. Stay updated on the latest Fluency updates, including new features and platform integrations.

  • Next Steps. This section offers a clear path for your clients to take action on the proposed items, facilitating further discussion.

  • Proposed Budget Increases. The table at the end of the Proposal Sheet breaks down the proposed budget increases according to your chosen media mix in the Configuration window.

    • Section 1: Grow Search is the initial proposed budget increase, covering both Google and Microsoft.

    • Sections 2/3: Grow Your Base and Differentiate present budget proposals for Facebook, Display, and Video (YouTube) based on your media mix percentage allocation. They will adjust as you change the media mix percentage allocation, while "Grow Search" remains constant as the initial Proposal Amount.
