Monitoring account performance using performance bounds

Set performance bounds to get alerts when account performance deviates outside of a specified range.

Updated over a week ago

Performance bounds help you evaluate account performance by creating custom benchmarks for key performance indicators (KPIs). This feature provides a simple way to assess portfolio health and identify accounts that need further investigation.

Note:

Performance bounds are a customer-level setting available to users with manager access only. This means the alerts set up here will show for all users on all accounts when a performance bound is triggered.

How to configure performance bounds

  1. Go to Settings & Tools (gear icon) in the top menu.

  2. Select Performance Bounds in the dropdown.

  3. Click + Create New Performance Bounds Set.

  4. Choose a vertical from the dropdown (e.g., Real Estate, Solar).

  5. Enter a Lookback window (in days).

  6. Click + Add Performance Bound.

  7. Select a metric to monitor (e.g., Pacing, CPC, Impressions).

  8. Enter ranges for lower or upper bounds based on alert severity:
Note: You do not have to set a value for each field.
    Alarm: High Severity
    Warning: Medium Severity
    Concern: Low Severity

  9. Enter a value in the Min. Spend field for the color-coded indications to show in the Manage table.

  10. Create as many Performance Bounds as desired, segmented by vertical.

  11. Click Save.

When one of your metrics falls outside of the parameters you define, you will receive a notification under Performance Health.

Viewing performance bounds in Manage

In the Manage table, metrics that fall outside the defined performance bound parameters are color-coded according to your setup. This color coding is intended to catch your attention and highlight accounts that require action.
